(sometimes the cloves are very big: cut them in two or three slices)
2 big onions (sliced)
¼ cup of olive oil
1 can of tomato paste
1 tsp salt (or to taste)
¼ tsp pepper (or to taste)
I usually use the allspice pepper which is not hot, so I can put ½
tsp and then add a little black pepper.
Saute the onions and garlic in the olive oil a few minutes until tender, not brown. Add the frozen beans and saute them
with the onions and garlic for a few minutes. You don't have to worry if they are still a little frozen. Add the tomato paste can,
some water (around two to three cups). Add salt and pepper. Mix well. Let it boil then cover it and put it on simmer for 30 to 45 minutes.
