Rice Pudding (Ruz ou Halib)
1 cup rice
6 cups water
1 cup sugar(or to taste)
1 cup milk
2 tbls of Orange Blossom water (MAZAHER)
Some ground cinnamon (if you like)
First you boil the rice in the water until it is well cooked. Then you add the milk and the sugar. It has to go back to boil.
If all the water is gone which is possible, pour more than one cup milk (1½ or 2). Let it boil for a while until
you notice it has thickened enough. You have to keep stirring, otherwise it may stick to the pan. Add the mazaher and stir it.
Then remove it. Pour it in small bowls and let it cool down before putting it in the fridge. Before you eat you can sprinkle some
ground cinnamon on it.
